Don’t Meet Chaos with Chaos | Record Time Ep. 123
When Life comes to meet you in a big way, how do you respond? Do you rev yourself up to match the “bigness” life is throwing at you? I feel personally that it’s very tempting to meet chaos with chaos. When life gets hectic, it’s easy to work ourselves up into a frenzy – matching that hectic energy whether we realize it or not. This week on Record Time, the Keepers of the Akashic Records offer us a different way to approach big and busy moments in our lives. (You can receive the full Akashic Transmission by watching the video below!)
They share: When something big happens in life, you don’t have to meet chaos with chaos.
There’s nuance to this, because there are certainly times when Life is bringing a lot to us, and we are being called to rise to the occasion, proactively and energetically.
But sometimes, when a really big wave of Life is coming towards us, whether that’s major events happening in our personal lives or if it’s a big transformation period in our inner world, the thing we are being called to do is to anchor into strength, and allow the wave to come to us.
There are times when it’s necessary to run towards what’s coming to us. And there are times to hold, wait, and root into our strength as we wait for Life’s waves to meet us.
This isn’t a passive thing. This isn’t giving up, and totally surrendering to the flow of whatever wants to happen. This is something in between forceful action and total passivity. It’s combining the intelligence of those two other approaches, by gathering our rising energy and allowing it to come together to fortify and strengthen us. It’s using the energy of the first approach, and the discerning pause of the second approach – and allowing those two things to come together. Action and surrender coming together in strength.
It’s a decisive pause. It’s an active holding. It’s allowing your whole self, all of your energy, to come together into a solid, rooted experience of your own strength. It’s anchoring into strength, rooting into your power. Instead of expending your energy and strength into a bunch of different directions, it’s channeling it all into one intentional, decisive direction.
It’s the inherent wisdom of a big tree in a storm – where it’s roots are so strong and deep, that the trunk and branches of the tree and bend and sway in the powerful storm, and it will not fall down. That’s because it’s literally rooted in its strength, and its roots allow the rest of the body of the tree to be flexible, and to meet the powerful force of wind and water without breaking.
That’s the invitation and subtle approach the Records are offering us this week. There is a time and place for these different ways to approach life, and the Records trust in our ability to discern when to use which approach.
I invite you to feel into what rooting into strength is for you. And if you feel compelled to share your perspective, I’d love to hear from you! You’re welcome to comment on this post and share your experience with me.
And if you know someone who might appreciate this perspective, or who might be facing some chaos in their life right now, send this video to them and share the goodness!
